‘Attention’ is the new single from New York based pop punk band We Are The In Crowd. The band is currently in the process of recording the follow up to 2011’s ‘Best Intentions’, featuring this new track.

For what it’s worth, this track (musically speaking), sounds a little bit like Paramore. If it wasnt for Tay Jardine’s deeper vocals, it would be a carbon copy. But that is where the comparisons end. The song draws on the themes of friendship and finding yourself, which instantly stamps it as an anthem – allowing it to resonate with fans, saying what they think but could never say.

What makes this song truly special is the unique harmony between Jardine and Jordan Eckes. It is typical of this genre, but it gives the track the edge it needs, breaking up the melodic guitar and drum combination.

If Attention is anything to go by, the new We Are The In Crowd album can’t come soon enough.
