Alternative Pop Newcomer Lisey Tigra Returns with “Crime Scene” Breaking Down Stereotypes for Female Musicians

Lisey Tigra’s new track “Crime Scene” is like a descent into Dante’s inferno. It’s a haunting curiosity; Tigra’s voice drapes over a disorientating beat that trembles under its weight. The percussion is raw, calling to mind an arcane, almost medieval sound that acts as the track’s foundation. The spectres of Tigra’s influences, Lady Gaga, Tove Lo and Lana Del Rey loom over “Crime Scene”; their bold and powerful vocal signatures, and their uncanny ability to incite resonance from their listeners, are manifest in Lisey Tigra’s music even at this early stage in her career.
