Luwten takes her name from a Dutch word, her native tongue, which simply means “place without wind”. The producer and songwriter purifies her sound to its fundamental form with her latest dual release, “Call Me In (Arte Session)” and “Full Well (Acoustic)”. The tracks are finely-spun, as delicate as cobwebs in the wind, with Luwten’s voice trembling on their threads like morning dew. While “Call Me In” is a meditation on accountability, reserved for the quiet moments, “Full Well” captures the feeling of being held in suspense, about lust unspoken. Luwten has an almost otherworldly ability to commit intangible feelings to record.
